1998 McDonald’s Disney Lion King 2 Simba’s Pride #7 Rafiki Plush Toy
Bring a little Pride Lands wisdom to your collection with this 1998 McDonald’s Rafiki plush, toy #7 from Disney’s The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride Happy Meal series.
This miniature plush captures Rafiki’s distinctive appearance with a gray body, shaggy white beard and head fur, tan muzzle, hands and feet, and colorful blue-and-red facial details. Yellow eyes, long arms, and an extended fabric tail give this small collectible plenty of character.
First introduced in Disney’s 1994 animated film The Lion King, Rafiki is the wise mandrill who serves as a spiritual guide to the Pride Lands’ royal family. This promotional plush celebrates his return in Simba’s Pride.
Rafiki was one of eight different plush toys available during the McDonald’s Happy Meal promotion, which ran October 30 through November 26, 1998. Measuring approximately 4.5 inches tall, 2.75 inches long, and 3 inches wide, this plush was made in China and retains its sewn-in fabric labels.
Add Rafiki to your vintage McDonald’s toy collection, complete a missing spot in your Simba’s Pride plush set, or display him alongside your favorite Disney characters. Bring home this nostalgic collectible from Draben’s Toyland.
