Collector Information

The Peanuts Series A Lucy dispenser is identified by its distinctive black eyes and two-piece head construction, which helps distinguish this version from other Lucy PEZ dispenser variations.

The first molded head component features Lucy's black hairstyle and head, while the second component forms her light tan face with black eyes, eyebrows, and mouth details.

The red footed stem and Slovenia manufacturing designation are additional characteristics useful for identifying this collectible.

The U.S. Patent 4,966,305 marking provides another identification reference, although the patent number alone does not establish the exact production year of this particular dispenser.

The original green and yellow packaging adds collectible appeal with its vintage PEZ advertising graphics, candy rolls, and printed promotional maze activity.

For collectors of Peanuts memorabilia, Lucy Van Pelt is an especially recognizable character whose personality and distinctive hairstyle make her an appealing addition to a Snoopy and Peanuts Gang PEZ collection.

3. Condition Description

Condition: Vintage Original Package – Packaging Shows Age and Wear.

This vintage Peanuts Lucy Van Pelt PEZ dispenser remains enclosed in its original green and yellow PEZ Candy packaging with candy rolls visible inside.

The original plastic wrapper displays noticeable wrinkling, creasing, crumpling, surface scuffing, and general storage wear throughout. The clear plastic window has folds and distortions, particularly around the dispenser's head and red stem.

The upper heat-sealed edge appears intact in portions but is uneven and wrinkled, with visible folds along the top of the package.

The reverse packaging features a printed maze activity, barcode, and nutritional information. The maze insert is partially obscured by the barcode and nutritional labels.

The Lucy dispenser appears to retain its black molded hair, tan face, black eyes, and red stem. No obvious broken pieces are visible through the packaging, although the dispenser has not been removed for closer inspection or functionality testing.

The candy rolls remain inside the package, including a visible purple grape-flavored PEZ candy roll. The candy is vintage and not intended for consumption.
