Vintage lot of 2 Breuninger Golden Guernsey plastic toy cows that were used for advertising. Breuninger was a long time dairy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before it was purchased by Balford Farms of New Jersey in 1996. The Guernsey is a breed of dairy cattle from the island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. It is fawn or red and white in color, and is hardy and docile. Its milk is rich in flavor, high in fat and protein, and has a golden-yellow tinge due to its high β-carotene content.
