Collector Information

The Fred Flintstone Peach Face PEZ dispenser features a distinctive three-piece head construction that helps distinguish this variation from other Fred Flintstone dispensers.

The three components consist of:

1. Tan Head and Nose: Features Fred's oversized nose, white and black eyes, black eyebrows, and blue necktie.

2. Peach-Colored Face: Includes his prominent cheeks and cheerful open-mouth smile with black and pink detailing.

3. Black Molded Hair: Features Fred's recognizable dark hairstyle with sculpted details.

The yellow footed stem features raised PEZ lettering, while the reverse side includes the U.S. Patent 4,966,305 marking and Made in Hungary identification.

The molded 1992 copyright marking on the head provides an important collector reference. However, the copyright date should not automatically be interpreted as the exact year this individual dispenser was manufactured.

This example also has some looseness in the head, allowing slight up-and-down movement. This condition detail is important for collectors seeking an accurately described vintage dispenser.

3. Condition Description

Condition: Vintage Pre-Owned – Good Display Appearance with Surface Wear and Loose Head Movement

This vintage Fred Flintstone PEZ dispenser is in pre-owned condition with visible signs of age, handling, and previous use.

The molded head retains its recognizable tan and peach-colored facial features, black hair, expressive cartoon eyes, blue necktie, and smiling mouth. The facial paint appears largely intact, although minor surface marks, discoloration, and dirt accumulation are visible, particularly around the mouth, lower facial seams, and necktie.

The black molded hair exhibits light surface scratches, scuffs, and small marks consistent with normal handling and storage. Minor surface wear is also visible along the sides and back of the head.

The bright yellow stem retains its raised PEZ lettering and footed base. Light scratches, scattered marks, and minor surface discoloration are visible on the stem, particularly around the sides and lower portions.

The patent number and Made in Hungary markings remain visible on the dispenser.

Important Condition Note: The head has some looseness and moves slightly up and down. This movement has been noted for accuracy and should be considered when purchasing. The dispensing mechanism has not been confirmed as fully functional.

No obvious major cracks or missing exterior pieces are visible in the supplied photographs. However, the internal mechanism has not been inspected.
